Bragging Rights: Mammoth Gets Most Snow in the World! More here
It is surely a winter wonderland out here! Mammoth is the skiing and snowboarding Mecca for anyone who dreams of fresh powder lines! A fresh 10”-18” has fallen in the last 24hrs and it is still snowing. Up to a foot of new snow is expected throughout the day today and storm totals since Friday are 11 feet to 16 feet of snow! The powder can be anywhere from soft powdery groomed runs to knee deep and chest deep snow! Take extra precautions if driving up to and around Mammoth. Thursday and Friday promise Mammoth’s famous bluebird skies allowing areas like the top, backside, Chairs 12 and 9 able to open that have miles of untracked snow!
Storms leave behind more than 2 feet of rain in mountain areas
